RISKS, INCIDENTS & WHS

Man in suit and helmet signaling stop near a construction zone.

Clear systems. Less stress. More time to focus on quality service delivery.

Every great provider needs strong systems behind the scenes — but most people don’t start in the NDIS sector because they love paperwork. That’s where we come in.

We help you build simple, practical business systems that reduce stress, improve efficiency and give you confidence that your operations are running smoothly. Whether you're just getting started or looking to tidy up what you already have, we streamline processes like communication pathways, documentation workflows, incident systems..........

Our approach is personal. We sit with you, understand how you work, and build systems that fit your style — not the other way around. We remove the overwhelm and leave you with tools that are clear, organised, and easy to maintain.

The Incident & WHS System

Build robust processes. Meet your obligations. Be audit‑ready.

This practical program is for small–medium NDIS providers who want clear, repeatable processes for incident and risk management—mapped end‑to‑end and aligned to NDIS and WHS (NSW)requirements. You’ll leave with a simple operating system your team can use the very next day: roles, forms, registers, escalation pathways, and an improvement loop that actually sticks.

What we cover (owner/manager focus):

  • Your      incident management system (IMS), simplified—what the NDIS Commission      expects, how to document it, and how to make it accessible and      proportionate to your service size.
  • Reportable      vs non‑reportable incidents—the categories that must be notified to      the NDIS Commission, with timeframes (e.g., death/serious      injury/abuse/assault within 24 hours; unauthorised restrictive      practice within 5 business days, or 24 hours if harm      occurred). We’ll also walk through the Immediate Notification and 5‑Day     forms in the NDIS Commission Portal.
  • Integrated      governance—how incidents, hazards, complaints and feedback connect to      risk registers, investigations, corrective actions, and continuous      improvement for audits against the Practice Standards.

Bonus for attendees:

  • Client      Risk Assessment (start‑up + dynamic review),
  • Incident      Report (form + guidance notes),
  • Feedback      & Complaints policies and procedures pack—so your IMS connects      cleanly to complaints management as required under the Rules.

Outcome: A compliant, people‑first incident and WHS process that protects participants, supports your workers, and proves you’re on top of quality and safety—before, during, and after an incident.
